Services create growth in employment and exports

Private services are the largest employer in Finland. Private services without trade employ more than one million people, and most of the new jobs are created in the service sector. Services generate a considerable share of the GDP and a large part of Finnish exports.

Globally, the service trade has grown faster than the traditional trade of goods for a decade, and services also constitute three quarters of Finnish exports. Services have a high domestic content and most of the added value produced by them remains in Finland.
